Here is a twist on a classic appetizer! These Strawberry & Goat Cheese Crostinis are an easy, elegant snack perfect for gatherings or as a treat for yourself.
With creamy goat cheese, the natural sweetness of honey, a hint of crunch from freeze-dried strawberries and almonds, and the rustic touch of rosemary, each bite is a perfect blend of flavors and textures.
Ingredients:
- 1 baguette, sliced into thin rounds
- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- Sliced almonds (to taste)
- Drizzle of olive oil (we love using @getgraza)
- A sprig of rosemary for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Baguette:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.
2. Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Air Fryer Option: Place slices in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes or until crisp. Keep an eye on them, as air fryers can vary.
Assemble the Crostinis:
1. Once the baguette slices are cool enough to handle, spread a layer of softened goat cheese on each one.
2. Top with freeze-dried strawberries and sprinkle sliced almonds to your taste.
3. Drizzle a bit of honey over each crostini for sweetness.
4. Garnish with a small sprig of rosemary for decoration.
